记 2012-2013 学年毕业典礼

时间过得真快，一晃又到了学年结束的时候了。6月16号，华夏纽约中心学校第一个毕业典礼在WCC举行。回顾一年来学校的取得的成绩，由衷感谢学校具有一支精诚团结无私奉献的志愿者队伍，感谢学校具有一支兢兢业业高水平的教师队伍， 感谢全体家长们的倾心相助。这些都是学校生存和发展的保证。
毕业典礼在上午10点开始，由教务长王明宇主持。一开始，校长戴杨和家长会会长曹亮分别 回顾了学校一年来走过的历程并且展望未来信心满怀。他们骄傲地说到，我校教学计划圆满完成，总校演讲和辩论赛上表现出色表现；春节庙会，中秋烤肉和多次聚 餐，老师们家长们能经常在一起，就象个大家庭一样，都倍感珍惜这样平静祥和的气氛。财务长张思珍报告了学校目前的财务状况，学校的财务超出预期支出良好，这也保证了明年学校的的正常运转。

典礼的高潮当然是校长戴杨和毕业班老师陈鲁明颁发毕业证书。今年我校15名毕业生全部都 顺利通过HSK4 级考试，以100%合格率毕业。优秀毕业生代表张澜做了风趣的演讲，激励着在座的同学们更好地学中文。在典礼间隙，还穿插着精彩的文艺表演。随后学校的全 体老师登台亮相，逐一自我介绍，和家长们集体见面。老师家长配合是学好中文的关键。

我校每年都安排几次固定的时间让家长老师面对面交流互动，帮助学生提高 教学质量。我校从今年起给每位老师每服务五年颁发一个杰出教育奖，标志着为学校做出贡献的里程碑。二年级权颖老师和学前大班陈璇老师分别获得了十五年和五 年的杰出教育奖。

对于一年来董事会、校委会和家长会的辛勤工作，董事长郑琦和田肇基，校长戴扬和家长会会 长曹亮给予高度评价并对所有志愿者表示感谢。最后，下任校长程立洁带领她的团队首次亮相。程立洁逐一介绍了新的校委会和家长会成员，其中既有出道多年的老 华夏，也有血气方刚的新面孔，一个既有经验又有活力，新老搭配的合理组合，相信一定会为我校带来新的活力。
Time flies and the school year has come to a close. On Sunday, June 16, the graduation ceremony of the Class of 2013 took place in the auditorium at WCC.
Dean Mingyu Wang was the master of ceremony. The celebration began with the singing of the national anthem by everyone. Principal Yang Dai and PC Chair Leo Cao each gave a recap of the year which saw great academic achievements and splendid cultural events. Treasurer Sizhen Zhang gave the year-end financial report.
The 15 graduates of the Class of 2013, donning cap and gown, paraded onto the stage accompanied by the music of “Pomp and Circumstance” and the applause of the proud audience. Each graduate was awarded a diploma by their teacher Luming Chen and was photographed with the principal. The class representative Lan Zhang spoke wittily in fluent Chinese about her learning experience at Huaxia.
The limelight then shifted to our teachers, the backbone of our school. Each teacher gave a brief self-introduction. Teacher Ying Quan and Teacher Xuan Chen received Certificate of Service for their 15 years and 5 years of teaching at Huaxia respectively.
Subsequently, Chairmen of the Board, Melissa Zheng and Chaochi Tien, Principal Yang Dai and PC Chair Leo Cao thanked all volunteers who served on the Board, the Admin and the PTA in the past year. Lastly, principal-elect Lijie Cheng introduced members who will be volunteering in the Admin and PTA next year.
